We also make 100% of our sauces in-store ourselves, so you can be confident there’s no weird ingredients being added into anything you eat at Big Roddy’s. If you can’t pronounce it, it will never be added into anything made at Big Roddy’s.

All of the fruit and vegetables used at Big Roddy’s are all sourced locally from the Rocklea Markets fresh every single day. We believe this is very important, not only to make our food taste as good as it possible can, but also to support the local South East QLD farmers that feed all of us every day.
Finally, nothing, and we mean NOTHING, that you eat in Big Roddy’s has ever been frozen. We don’t even have a freezer and we never will. None of our ribs, none of our burger ingredients, none of our sauces, none of our nothing is ever defrosted and then cooked or reheated at Big Roddy’s. We strongly believe food tastes better when it remains natural and is cooked fresh, not that “frozen and then defrosted fresh”.
