    Located in the heart of South Bank in South Brisbane, you’ll find The Rose & Crown. We’re a proper London-style Gastropub, serving homemade food and hand-pulled traditional ale direct from the cask—the only pub in Queensland! We also offer a selection of tap beers, including Birra Moretti, Brewdog, Magners, and of course, Guinness.

    Our Menu
    Our menu is small but ever-changing, crafted using the best locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The Sunday Roasts are legendary, featuring traditionally made Yorkshire Puddings, lashings of gravy, and all the trimmings. Additionally, our wine list is extensive, filled with both local and international treasures.

    Our Philosophy
    “The secret is keeping the informal atmosphere of a local pub, not trying to be fancy or pretentious but blowing customer expectations out of the water with restaurant-quality food.” – Alex

    The Rose & Crown is family-owned and operated by the Derricks. Alex, originally from Queensland, spent over 20 years building the gastropub scene across London, the south of England, and Wales. Together with his British wife Bella, an interior stylist, they’ve transformed the heritage-listed majestic Queenslander into a beautifully styled London Gastropub.
